Port of Kokkola – Tailor-made solutions for the needs of the customers The versatile service equipment offered by the Port of Kokkola makes it possible to provide individually tailor-made quality services to the customers.
In the production of the service packages the reliable and highly professional partners of the port. Three Port Areas The General Port, the Deep Port and the Silverstone Port form an efficient entity, and thanks to the functioning port logistics the customer can be provided transport services.
Handling of containers, wind turbines components and break bulk has been concentrated mainly in the Silverstone Port. An important part of the operations in the General Port takes place in the covered All Weather Terminal, which significantly enhances the efficiency of cargo handling.
Projects for the hoisting of project cargo, we use our two Gottwald Port Cranes. Their hoisting capacity is 150 and 140 tons. Compared to using mobile cranes, tens of thousands euros can be saved in the handling of project cargoes, such as wind mill components, cisterns vessel engine parts and other heavy industry loads.
