Construction has commenced on Innogy Renewable UK's North Wales Clocaenog Forest Onshore Wind Farm and turbine component deliveries have begun.

Visit Collett & Sons Ltd at Hall 5 E39

Travelling from Ellesmere Port to the Denbighshire delivery site, our Team are well underway with deliveries of the Vestas V105 components to form the 27 turbines for the development.  Travelling the 70 mile route through Chester, Wrexham, Llangollen, Corwen and Pentrefoelas each of the turbine towers, blades and nacelles are being delivered to site in line with the construction schedule. With Collett appointed to undertake all port handling, heavy lift and transportation operations, work has begun on the discharge and delivery of each component required for the 92.5m hub height turbines.

With 27 turbines in total, deliveries are expected to run through to June 2019 with completion of the wind farm scheduled for October 2019.  Once operational Clocaenog Forest will have an installed capacity of up to 96 megawatts, enough renewable energy for the equivalent domestic needs of up to 63,800 average households per year.
